RUDOLF BAUER (1889–1953)
A key figure in non-objective art and an early influence on the Guggenheim’s vision, Bauer created spiritual, geometric compositions inspired by Theosophy and music. Though later obscured, his role in shaping abstract modernism has been rediscovered. His work is in the Guggenheim, Deutsche Bank Collection, and private archives."Color and form speak louder than realism ever could."
