PAUL KLEE (1879–1940)
Klee blended whimsical imagination with musical structure and childlike simplicity, drawing from surrealism, expressionism, and Bauhaus theory. His paintings balance color, symbol, and rhythm in poetic abstraction. His work is housed in the Zentrum Paul Klee, MoMA, and Kunstmuseum Bern.

"A line is a dot that went for a walk."
