ETEL ADNAN (1925–2021)

Adnan's luminous landscapes and abstract compositions radiate clarity and peace, often painted in vibrant color blocks. A poet and philosopher, her work reflects her Lebanese heritage and deep love for nature. Her paintings are in the SFMOMA, Centre Pompidou, and the Serpentine Galleries.
